Flags of Peace

Flags of Peace is an ongoing initiative by Trapped in Suburbia, where one designer or artist from each country is invited to submit their interpretation of what a Universal Peace Flag might look like.
I was incredibly flattered and more than a little daunted at the prospect of exhibiting alongside some of my personal heroes.
The design itself was inspired by a bird taking off. This was divided into essentially three stacked icons - the first, a horizontal line representing calmness, the second, a stylised bird the way a child might draw it and lastly the upraised wings signifying victory.
The colour was divided into equal parts black and white.
Check out Flags of Peace for more detail on the project.
